Maybe they should put the sales made towards a new server.

I got a couple of clip tools and a Wings - also grabbed a UK Penknife in blue - just looked cool. Had to stop myself from going crazy too! Smile

I tried and failed. I had some stuff I didn't in the cart. But then when I went to checkout, the items were gone (sold out I guess).

That's probably good - it's money I shouldn't have been spending anyway. And not sure I would have liked it or not (ie - one item had the maxmet(?) blade which sounds very difficult to sharpen).

I still have some items that I haven't used from the last second sale a few years ago - so today would really have been poor impulse control Smile

What the heck? How much of a discount are we talking about. Most responses here sounded like a nightmare. I think I’d rather wait a day and pay full boat to avoid the stress.

I had a folder with a street price of about $250 (recognized online dealer) for $80. But it sold out before I could checkout.

I paid $75 for a $315 knife today. Was worth it to me.

It wasn't that stressful. Just involved refreshing the page a lot until it worked. It was like being back in 1998 and 28k dialup out in the sticks, really.

Thanks for the heads up. The furtherest I had ever gotten before was registering an account. Never could buy anything. I saw your post about 5:30 or 6:00 today and was able to get around on the site. Slow but it worked and my account was still active. I got a UK pen knife and an Aqua Salt fixed blade. Now I just have to find a sheath for the Aqua Salt. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Same here, they gave me a purchase denial, but the charge shows going through on my CC card, then reversed for the same amount, it's odd.

Wonder if it's an inventory or something odd, have to call them after 9 CST

I bought two Para 3 G-10s that are $175 ea, paid 58 bucks each, plus tax and $13 shipping. It was worth my 20 minutes of frustration Smile
