Just wanted to share an awesome find with the forum, in case someone has a similar problem.

As you can see in the first photo, I have trouble reaching the seatbelt plug after I plop my big butt in the seat. Small 2 seater car.

This thing is perfect, looks OEM quality and makes it 100 times quicker and easier to hit the socket or release it. They have many options both rigid and flexible and in several different lengths.

Sorry about the dark photos from in the garage but you'll get the idea...

Oh man. I like that.

Old lady's Highlander is a bitch to secure sometimes.

Thanks for sharing this information.

Where did you find it?

At least at one point I think Ford would give you one of these if you asked. Other manufacturers might do it, too.

GM offers them at no charge also. 9" and 15" lengths.

Yea, good for large folks, but I didn't need any extra length on the seat belt... I just needed to get the dang plug up where I could reach it...

Thanks for posting that website! I just ordered on for my RAM. Tired of jamming my fingers trying to fasten the seat belt. Wink

Yeah. At first, I thought it was for fat people but once I saw the pic, I could use that. But usually, it's for the few times I'm riding in someone else's car and I can't find the thing. Or I keep trying to insert so many times until I figure it's for the other passenger.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." The contact page on their website has four ways to contact them for problems ordering: chat, phone number, email address, and a "contact us" form. If they want your business, they will find a workaround for this problem.

Just buy one from Amazon then. They don't need you to have Paypal.

They make them for airplanes too!

No, I don't need one, but a few years ago we sat on an RJ at the gate for 15 minutes while the airline scrambled to find one for a passenger who needed one.

Does plugging in one of the little extender things disengage the annoying seat belt reminder dings?

For years, I begged everyone I bought a car / truck from to disconnect the damn dinger. Everyone told me to piss off. Now I just go to the junk yard and get a buckle off a junker. Last one cost me 5 bucks.
When I want to forgo the seat belt (not often) I just plug in the junker buckle.
No ding!

Is that just a discovery card thing? I paid with my Visa directly, Not Pay Pal.
I checked out as "guest". When you get to the payment you can select "pay with paypal" OR "pay with credit card"

Yes, I looked at them there first. I can't remember now why I went to the source directly. Either I couldn't find my fitment, or Amazon was higher / charging sales tax.

I always wear my seat belt except when we are working on the farm and constantly jumping in and out of the truck and barely creeping along to begin with. It's aggravating to have to fasten the belt behind you to avoid the constant dings. If your workaround with the junker buckle works, then these little extenders should too.
