“Something happened in 2021” that has jeopardized air travel safety, according to a disturbing report by Dr. Kevin Stillwagon, a retired airline pilot and immunology expert.

Mounting evidence points to the COVID-19 vaccinations that airlines, acting under pressure from the U.S. government, mandated or otherwise coerced their cockpit, cabin, and ground crews into taking.

Since 2021, there has been a marked increase in deaths of “younger” airline pilots while long-term disabilities for pilots have skyrocketed. All of this has been accompanied by an astronomical increase of near-miss incidents at the nation’s airports.

“Incapacitations of pilots are definitely increasing, especially in younger pilots,” Stillwagon said in a video discussion with Nicolas Hulscher, an epidemiologist and administrator at the McCullough Foundation.

“There was a 40% increase in pilots dying early – before mandatory retirement age of 65 – in 2021,” Stillwagon said.

“Starting in 2021, pilot long-term disabilities have tripled,” he noted. “Prior to 2021, there was only one near-miss at the Washington National Airport (DCA). But after 2021, there were 28 near-misses per year.”

Yes, the mRNA shots were illegal, as were the non-mRNA covid shots that were available. All were experimental treatments which are strictly prohibited by the FAA.

While my employer airline didn't outright mandate them, they and the government made it extremely inconvenient for me to not be jabbed. It was a significant motivator for me to retire years early.

An incapacitated pilot in flight is a significant reduction in the margin of safety. The second pilot is fully capable of handling the aircraft to a safe landing, but it is less than ideal.

A FOIA for all internal emails and records at the FAA regarding their decision to ignore the pilot medical standards might reveal interesting facts. I bet also that individual medical examiners have a lot of data about changes in their pilots' medical situations since the jabs were rolled out.

FDA Revokes Emergency Authorization for COVID-19 Vaccines

The vaccines are still cleared for a number of Americans under regulatory approval.

Federal regulators have revoked emergency authorization for COVID-19 vaccines, according to Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“The emergency use authorizations for Covid vaccines, once used to justify broad mandates on the general public during the Biden administration, are now rescinded,” Kennedy, the head of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), said on X on Aug. 27.
At the same time, the Food and Drug Administration has approved the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for older adults as well as children as young as 5 years of age who have at least one condition that officials say puts them at higher risk of severe COVID-19 outcomes, Pfizer said in a statement on Wednesday.

The FDA, which is part of HHS, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Regulators previously issued similar approvals for two COVID-19 vaccines from Moderna and one COVID-19 vaccine from Novavax.
Those approvals diverged from previous approvals, which had not limited access to any populations save for infants less than 6 months old.

Combined, the actions mean that FDA clearance is no longer in place for an estimated 240 million Americans, although doctors could still provide the vaccines off-label to those people.

“These vaccines are available for all patients who choose them after consulting with their doctors,” Kennedy stated.

BioNTech (BNTX) stock skidded Wednesday after the Food and Drug Administration ended its broad authorization of Covid vaccines in the U.S.

The news comes alongside the approval of BioNTech's Pfizer (PFE)-partnered Covid shot. The booster aims to block the prevalent LP.8.8 strain of the Covid-causing coronavirus. It's approved for people age 65 and older, and for people age 5 through 64 at high risk of developing severe Covid.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who heads up the Department of Health and Human Services, in a post on the social media platform X, said the booster shots will be available to all patients "who choose them after consulting with their doctors." It's unclear how easily patients will access those shots, and whether insurers will pay for them.

Kennedy says he promised to end Covid vaccine mandates while keeping shots available to those who want them, demand placebo-controlled studies from vaccine makers and end the Covid emergency.

"The American people demanded science, safety and common sense," he said. "This framework delivers all three."

In afternoon trades, BioNTech stock slipped more than 2% to 102.29, while Pfizer stock rose a fraction to 25. Shares of Covid vaccine maker Moderna (MRNA) shed a fraction, while Novavax (NVAX) lost more than 1%.

The news comes amid an uptick in summer Covid cases. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, positive Covid tests reported to the agency climbed nearly 10% over the week ended Aug. 16. There was also a 1.2% rise in emergency department visits related to Covid.

Pfizer and BioNTech say their Covid booster will begin shipping immediately to pharmacies, hospitals and clinics across the U.S. To date, there have been more than 5 billion doses of the shot shipped across the globe, the companies said in a news release.

But uptake could be flimsy with a limited pool of eligible patients.

In the third and fourth quarters — the big sales periods for Covid shots — analysts polled by FactSet expect Pfizer to report a combined $4.03 billion in sales for the booster shot. That's down from 16% from the same six months in 2024 and 42% from the same period in 2023.

Lower Covid/Flu Vaccine Forecasts

Leerink Partners analyst Mani Foroohar recently cut his expectations for sales in the upcoming flu and Covid season, noting lower vaccine trends and regulatory uncertainties due to viewpoints from FDA leaders on messenger RNA vaccines. Pfizer and BioNTech's Comirnaty as well as both Covid shots from Moderna use messenger RNA technology.

"We note that for most mRNA vaccine manufacturers, the development strategy of both a combo COVID/Flu vaccine and a standalone flu vaccine remains unclear, and we expect regulatory events, clinical data, and commercial contracting dynamics to drive strategic decisions," he said in a client note.

Late last month a CDC advisory committee launched a review into the "safety, effectiveness, and immunogenicity" of COVID-19 vaccines, as well as whether mRNA remains in the body longer than advertised.

As part of the review, they will look at gaps in existing knowledge “relating to bio distribution, pharmacokinetics, and persistence of the spike protein, mRNA, and lipid nanoparticles to inform immunization recommendations,” the document states. In other words - they'll be looking at whether the vaccine has ever worked, as well as harms it may cause. As ZeroHedge readers know, studies have found that the spike protein and mRNA in the vaccines persist for some time.

Days after the committee was announced, the Department of Health & Human Services announced that Susan Monarez, who championed mRNA shots for COVID-19, is "no longer director of the CDC" - after she "clashed with the secretary (Kennedy) over vaccine policy," which ultimately led to her firing.

Meanwhile at least four other CDC officials resigned on Wednesday in a massive leadership shakeup at the agency: Dr. Debra Houry, the CDC's chief medical officer; Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases; Dr. Daniel Jernigan, the director of the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases; and Dr. Jennifer Layden, director of the Office of Public Health Data, Surveillance and Technology.

Florida to End All Vaccine Mandates

The announcement was made by Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo on Sept. 3.

Florida’s surgeon general, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, announced on Sept. 3 that he was working to eliminate all vaccine mandates from state law.

“The Florida Department of Health, in partnership with the governor, is going to be working to end all vaccine mandates in Florida law,” he said at a press conference. “All of them.”
“Every last one is wrong and drips with disdain and slavery,” Ladapo said.

“Who am I, as a government, or anyone else, or who am I as a man standing here now to tell you what you should put in your body? Who am I to tell you what your child should put in their body?

“I don’t have that right. Your body is a gift from God. What you put into your body is because of your relationship with your Body and your God.”

The surgeon general reiterated that neither he nor the government had the right to force vaccines upon people and urged those listening to take that power away from the government and make their own informed decisions.

He then said that the Florida Department of Health was able to start the process by striking down rules established by his predecessors that mandated several vaccines, and then his department would work with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and the state’s lawmakers to eliminate the rest of the mandates.

“We need to end it,” he said. ”It’s the right thing to do, and it'll be wonderful for Florida to be the first state to do it.”

Ladapo made his announcement as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced the creation of the state’s Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission and Medical Freedom Protections.

The commission will be chaired by his wife, Casey DeSantis.

Pfizer CEO Says Trump Should Receive Nobel Prize for Operation Warp Speed

Bourla was responding after the president’s call for transparency on COVID-19 vaccines.

Pfizer’s CEO on Sept. 3 said President Donald Trump should receive a Nobel Peace Prize for the operation that helped deliver COVID-19 vaccines within months of the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Albert Bourla said in a statement that Operation Warp Speed and the development of COVID-19 vaccines by Pfizer and Moderna “is a profound public health achievement” that was achieved under the leadership of Trump during the president’s first term.

“This American leadership also delivered a new platform that may drive significant innovation in cancer research,” Bourla said. “Such an accomplishment would typically be worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize, given its significant impact.”

Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.), a doctor who chairs the Senate Health Committee, also said on Wednesday that Trump deserves a Nobel Prize for Operation Warp Speed.
The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded to people who have achieved success in one of four areas: “arms control and disarmament, peace negotiation, democracy and human rights, and work aimed at creating a better organized and more peaceful world,” according to the prize’s website.
Bourla was responding after Trump recently said that “it is very important that the Drug Companies justify the success of their various Covid Drugs.” He said that Pfizer and others have shown him information “that is extraordinary, but they never seem to show those results to the public,” and urged the parties to make public the information.

Pfizer will add more information and studies by the end of September, according to Bourla. The official said that Pfizer will soon share data about its updated COVID-19 vaccine, which targets the LP.8.1 strain.

“We stand by the integrity of our data, remain committed to openly sharing information from our ongoing trials, and will continue to maintain the trust of patients, health authorities, and the public,” he said.

White House spokesman Kush Desai told The Epoch Times in an email, “As President Trump has made clear, the only driving principle of health decision-making in this Administration is Gold Standard Science,“ adding that federal health officials ”will continue to take an evidence-based approach to evaluate pharmaceutical treatments and Make America Healthy Again.”

Moderna, which also made a COVID-19 vaccine with funding from Operation Warp Speed during Trump’s first term, has not returned an inquiry and has not publicly responded to Trump’s statement.

Federal regulators recently narrowed clearance for COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer, Moderna, and Novavax, noting that clinical trials that supported the initial authorizations took place years ago and emphasizing that for younger, healthy people, fresh trials are needed.
Trump also highlighted the turmoil at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, whose director he recently fired. Following the termination, several top officials stepped down, citing disagreements with Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and a panel that advises the CDC on vaccines, which is made up of people whom Kennedy selected after removing the previous members.

FDA Going to Release Report on Child Deaths From COVID Vaccines: Commissioner

Regulators are investigating reported deaths, Dr. Marty Makary said.

The Food and Drug Administration is going to soon release a report detailing an investigation the agency is conducting into deaths among children from COVID-19 vaccines, the agency’s commissioner said on Sept. 4.

Dr. Marty Makary said that officials have been delving into reports submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), to which people, their doctors, or family members can submit reports of post-vaccination issues.

“We do know at the FDA, because we’ve been looking into the VAERS database self-reports, that there have been children that have died from the COVID vaccine,” Makary said during an appearance on CNN.

When asked how many, Makary said, “We’re going to release a report in the coming few weeks and we’re going to let people know.”

He said that the agency is carrying out “an intense investigation” that includes speaking with family members of children who died after vaccination and reviewing autopsy reports. Doctors are involved, he said.

Such a report should have been released by the government during the last administration, he added, but it was not.

Health care workers were required to report adverse events following COVID-19 vaccination to VAERS, which also accepts reports from other people.

“VAERS is not designed to determine if a vaccine caused a health problem, but is especially useful for detecting unusual or unexpected patterns of adverse event reporting that might indicate a possible safety problem with a vaccine,” the system’s website states.
Some minors died from COVID-19 vaccine side effects, according to death certificates and studies from researchers. That includes a young male in Connecticut who experienced myocarditis, or heart inflammation, after receiving a shot. The vaccines can cause myocarditis, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The CDC, which co-manages VAERS with the FDA, previously found evidence such as death certificates and autopsy reports that COVID-19 vaccines caused deaths in adults, according to a file obtained by The Epoch Times.
The CDC and some other authorities investigating post-vaccination deaths have maintained that if a potential viral cause is identified, they cannot definitively attribute the deaths to the vaccines.

More than 676 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the United States.

The U.S. government has not released an official number of post-vaccination deaths confirmed to be from vaccination.

Dr. Peter Marks, the FDA’s top vaccine official at the time, said during a congressional hearing in February 2024 that officials had been able to confirm “only handfuls” of deaths “that we can actually associate with the vaccine.”
Marks also said that the vaccines saved many more lives than deaths caused. He did not cite any sources.

A recent paper estimated that the COVID-19 vaccines averted 2.5 million deaths worldwide, primarily among the elderly. Researchers said they did not factor in deaths caused by the vaccines.
“It would not be unrealistic for 100,000 U.S. deaths to have been caused by the vaccines,“ Dr. Harvey Risch, professor emeritus of epidemiology in Yale School of Public Health’s Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, told The Epoch Times via email after reviewing the paper. ”VAERS reports about 38,000, and that number is likely to be an appreciable undercount.”

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., whose department oversees the FDA, said during a hearing on Thursday that the COVID-19 vaccines saved lives, and caused deaths, but he does not know the numbers of either category due to what he described as “data chaos coming out of CDC.”

New York Health Dept Defies FDA: Hochul's Emergency Order Pushes Off-Label COVID Shots For Kids As Young as 3

New York’s department of public health released a series of odd guidances to pharmacists and physicians on Friday to promote COVID vaccines to children and adults for “off label” use, meaning in conflict with FDA’s official label. Signed by Governor Kathy Hochul, New York’s executive order 52 declares a “disaster in the state of New York due to federal actions related to vaccine access.”

“A friend of mine said they’re contacting the nurse’s union,” a New York City nurse texted me, shortly after New York released their new COVID vaccine guidance. “They don’t know wtf to do with that!”

A New York physician sent me documents the state’s health department sent to physicians and pharmacists, called “providers” in healthcare lingo. She and the majority of her colleagues no longer get COVID boosters, and she’s worried that the new guidance for “off label” use makes no sense, does not fully inform patients, and might be illegal.

Pfizer pled guilty to criminal charges and paid a record $2.3 billion fine for illegal, off label promotion of multiple drugs in 2009. As previously reported here, Biden’s FDA Commissioner and CDC Director both promoted COVID vaccines for uses that the FDA admitted were off label. No evidence exists that pharmaceutical companies helped to shape New York’s off label policy, but CNBC reported in 2021 that Governor Hochul’s daughter-in-law is a top lobbyist at a pharma firm that has sought to influence NY lawmakers.

According to a recent biography at BIO, Christina Hochul is now a lobbyist at Alexion, a subsidiary of AstraZeneca.

In one unsettling example of New York’s emergency guidance, officials allege that “physical activity” places people at risk of COVID.

Because she works in both New Jersey and New York, this physician requested to go by the name “Michelle” to protect her license and possible job reprisals. “The states that I practice in are particularly regressive and hostile,” Michelle said. “They have pursued suspending and revoking licenses for providers that asked questions that in any other situation would be normal to ask.”
