I Am The Walrus
| Sounds like the type of shit my wife would go for. Hell, I'd get a divorce before buying that house. The divorce would be cheaper!

| Excellent!! And you kept your marriage intact, I presume. Win-Win!!
"If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne
"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24 |

Sorry to come late to this thread, but IMO this is the key. Your wife has already psychologically moved in. She has been visually laying out where the furniture will go, how much she's going to enjoy the views in Spring, etc. I agree with what others have said: Walk away before this problem becomes your problem.

That is indeed great news, that was nightmare waiting to happen. Those things can take on a life of their own with added costs really running up the bill. |
