There is fooked up and then there is A-10 fooked up.

Was talking to a cop that came into our fire station about seeing a mobile radar unit on display at a Luke AFB Thunderbirds show. The cop used to be in one of those.
On TV was a show about the A-10 and he said their "A-10 Drill" was to un-ass the vehicle and run as fast and as far as humanly possible. Big Grin

Hell yea! As a former soldier who’s primary means of transportation was LPCs, it always felt nice having an A10 or two overhead. The A10 drivers are exceptionally good at hitting the bad guys while avoiding GI’s. Can’t always say that about the other fast movers.

If the Air Force really doesn't want the Warthog anymore, I'm sure the Army would love to give them a second home. Of course, that might require another revisit to Pace-Finletter. 5000 pounds my ass.
