You're paying "child" support for someone old enough to vote, buy liquor, etc? Roll Eyes

Yup. In Commie Massachusetts at least it’s required while they are in college up to age 23.

These go to eleven.

This isn’t a political thread and I don’t know why my paying support required by law in my state would influence his voting. I did instill some values in him. He is not a commie and he majored in business and economics. Not gender studies.

These go to eleven.

You have my sympathies.

Did she think the gravy train would roll on for ever and ever?

Yea, they do. "Somehow" they forget what was agreed upon in the divorce decree, unless it's something in their favor.

It wouldn’t surprise me. Some of the wacky shit she did after the divorce was unbelievable. You think you know someone but divorce makes women go psycho (more than usual).

These go to eleven.

When I divorced the mother of my two children many years ago the situation was reversed from yours.
I was awarded physical placement of the children. (sons, aged 5 & 2 at the time)
I got the house.
I kept my retirement.
I was awarded child support.
That fucking prick scumbag ass licking family court judge awarded me twenty dollars a month. (and THAT is how I really feel)
Pay no mind to the STATE LAW that awards a certain percentage based on the number of children and gross pay.
His explanation was that if he awarded me the percentage based on the law, it would put her below the federal poverty level.
I looked right at that worthless scumbag judge and told him he wouldn't hesitate to do that to me, so it was fair for her.
My lawyer had to drag me out of the courtroom to keep me from getting locked up for contempt of court.
The whole miserable family court system is RIGGED for the benefit of women.
frayedends, congratulations on your new found wealth!
