She sounds like a great mom. May she rest is peace, and I wish you strength in this very difficult time.

My mom was of a breed like yours... a single mom as my dad died months before I was born, and she toughed it out for another 50 years with just us kids. Dementia and CHF took her from us two years ago, just shy of Mothers Day.

I hope that your mom and my mom are comparing notes in heaven, and are proud of the both of us. God bless.

My deepest condolences. As others have said, reading your description, she does sound like an absolutely wonderful person. I am very saddened by your loss, and know how you feel. Reading your news, it seems obvious that she was very much loved and blessed, and passed peacefully in her sleep at 98. I hope you can understand why I can find reasons to smile about that, as I hope you can too, soon. I am proud for her, and I'd be just as sure she is very proud of you.

My condolences. Your mom sounds like a wonderful lady and you were very fortunate. She lived a long and (apparently) successful life. Revel in the memories.

adobesig, My condolences.

I will say this: +98 years old and going peacefully in your sleep, in your own bed. Can't ask for much more than that.
