I hope it's OK for me to say, "Sounds like a good death." She lived almost 100 years and died peacefully at home, in her own bed. She was blessed, you were blessed, and it sounds like those who surrounded her are richer for the experience.

She did not speak English when she started school and ended up speaking almost British English routinely would quote famous authors from memory. She did not understand why she needed to press 1 for English when we lived in the United States. She was kind and giving but a tough parent. When I strayed I would hear, "young man I am raising a man and right now I am just not seeing it." I am so grateful that she loved me enough to be tough when needed. My family was blessed by her and already miss her.

What a beautiful mom. Thank you for sharing. I have a feeling you'll see her once again. God Bless.

She sounded like an incredible woman. As I said in the mothers day post. In large part. America is great because of our great mothers. I believe that with all my heart. Great mothers, past and present. Help define who we are as the great nation on Gods green earth. God Bless her and may she rest in peace. I loved your short tribute to her.

The fond memories of her will be a lasting legacy for your family. And a great one at that!
