I'd make fun of Georgia, but Sheila Jackel Lee is one of Houston's representatives. Often touted to be a contender for both the meanest and dumbest member of Congress. This will be jackel's first election since Texas eliminated straight ticket voting so I'm interested to see if it erodes her margin of victory (seriously gerrymandered district to reduce the number of districts Douchecrats win). Finally...thank you. I've been making this same point for years...the problem isn't these politicians that say stupid things (as bad as they are), it's the ignorant voters who put them in office. The ignorant voting for the ignorant. When a politician has a track record of saying blantantly ignorantly stupid things it should be pointed out that there were enough like-minded voters to support their candidacy to put them in office. | |||
