Simple question.

Question:
How do you wear your Hawaiian shirts?

Choices:
Worn outside the trousers.
Tucked in.

All my Hawaiian shirts have square bottoms and I never tuck them in.

I need a source for nice Hawaiian shirts that are sized correctly for Americans. I take a 3XL. I just bought one that SEEMED to be a USA seller. It was marked 4XL. It would be lucky to fit an XL. They said I could send it back for a refund If I ship it to China at my cost. Probably would cost more than the shirt.

Costco has fairly decent Hawaiian shirts, the Cooke Street brand. Lately they have been running much larger; I used to wear an L now that is huge on me.

My favorite brand is Reyn Spooner; used to buy those at their Ala Moana Mall store, haven’t found any since coming to San Diego. They are not cheap. Mine are getting frayed around the collar so not wearing the as much any more.

@stjill - I’m a Reyn Spooner fan myself. Bought one in Hawaii and have bought a couple more via their website.

Untucked. You tuck a Hawaiian shirt, you'll look like a nub.

Our family wears Hawaiian shirts for Easter services then brunch party afterwards. I've got a few from Reyn Spooner, Tori Richard, Kamahameha Co, Kahala, Quicksilver Silver Edition.

I have picked up about 15 Tommy Bahama shirts on eBay. They sell for ridiculously stupid prices as new but $20 buys a nice TB on eBay. Untucked.

All of my shirts are one size larger, square-cut, and worn untucked. I carry a 5" 1911 on my belt @ 3:00 with spare magazines @ 9:00 from the time I get dressed until it goes on the nightstand when I go to bed. Today, I am wearing cargo-shorts, sandals, and a T-shirt.

Or sandals (without socks, fer crissakes!). I don't particularly care for flip-flops. Too... flip-floppy. I like footware I feel is gonna stay on my feet.

Wait... Hawaiian shirts or all shirts?

Either way: I find that the way American shirts are sized, even the size I wear (±large) is generally too tent-y on me. I could about conceal an AR under my Hawaiian shirt. I can easily conceal something like my P239 SAS or smaller, plus a mag carrier, under a large loose-fit UA tee.
