When I was younger I lived in Cumming, just north of Atlanta for a while. One winter an inch of slushy snow fell and it was comical what it did to folks that don't usually se it. Kids had a blast and cars were off the road everyone I went.

We have discovered a smashed twinkie in the sofa cushions.

South side of Atlanta reporting in, have weathered the first onslaught, all radios working and supplies inventoried. At least 3" of snow this morning that was very slushy (7/11) style, avoided the lemon flavored. Trees are icing nicely as the sun sets,waiting to see if power lines go down due to weather or bad drivers running into poles. Just imagining the horror if power goes out, might have to talk to family.

Ice starting to accumulate on trees, right at freezing and supposed to go until about midnight

This could get ugly with trees taking out power lines

My will is in my sock drawer

Best I could hope for is to die alone in the rain...

but since this is snow, I'm good.

That’s the thing about ‘prepping’, it sure doesn’t take much to get above the averages.

Most of us have enough food to get by for weeks without visiting a store, the same with toilet paper.

Don’t we all have a 2 year firewood supply??
