I am looking for a nice soft side cooler in the $50 or less range. I was thinking 20-24 can capacity. I LOVE the RTIC and YETI versions, but $100-$250 is a bit much for a soft cooler. I do have a larger YETI 65 I use often, but need something that is easy to carry for an evening at friends.

I have been using an Igloo soft cooler for years that has a quick access flap that seemed like a good idea at first, but quickly began to let more air out than it holds in.

Is the RTIC Day cooler any good at $35? Have not seen one in person.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

I have an RTIC SoftPak 40 and it is fantastic. It is a bit more than $50 though.

Hunter - I bought the model below about three months ago for my wife and I to use when traveling to and from getting grankids and with a couple of the blue ice packs from WalMart everything stays cold for well over 24 hrs....We are very happy of the results vs. the cost...

The one thing we did was put a small amount of vasoline on the zipper teeth because it was pretty stiff being that it is a water tight seal zipper...Mark

Cost - $49.97

If you are on Facebook check out their classifieds, I frequently run across good deals on coolers there. Also with July 4th here RTIC is bound to have a sale and I’ve been pleased with every product I have purchased from them.

I use the rtic day cooler as my lunch box for work and it has held up well and keeps items cold for a while. Got it on sale for like $20-25

I received one similar to this one as a give away from the local casino. I don't know if it's as good as any of the others but it's another brand you can consider.

Thank you guys! I didn’t know Walmart had their version of the YETI, I will check it out.

I have also seen the Titan, I actually sell promotional products and have access to that bag for about $24. I just wasn’t sure about the durability.

The Walmart brand is called Ozark Trail. I use their insulated tumblers and 64 oz bottles. They work very well. The 64 oz was $14 while the tumbler was $8. I can't imagine the name brand products which cost 2-3x more working that much better.
