Courtesy of the Air Force, my family and I spent 5 years @ Pease NH -- loved every minute of it (yes even the white stuff. Ate at least weekly at Newicks restaurant near Pease and the lobstah was the best.

Maine has it's good places to visit (and take pictures). Kittery was one for example. Strawberry Banke for another. Never really went farther North than Old ORchard Beach so. . . .

Yer marrying up, Ryan. Repeat that to yourself once in a while. Wink

How much was the lobstah roll w/ fries? $12.50?

I agree. I just keep my mouth shut and hope she doesn't figure out she's the one who settled. Wink
$16.99 for the lunch but I'd have paid $50 if I knew how good it was going to be. Big Grin

The second pic is Nubble Light.

Both locations are in southern Maine - not far from Portsmouth, NH.

Beautiful areas.

Good eye! That's exactly right. We were staying in Bedford NH so it was only an hour and some change away.

Great pics...looks like weather was perfect as well. Visiting Maine in late August was one of my most enjoyable vacations. Spent 8 days visiting Portland, Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. The scenery, people and fresh seafood was amazing.

I drove all around Pease in Aug, if you want some pix send a note to the address in my profile. It closed under BRAC about 25 years ago.

I'm a huge air base nut, I also visited ex-NAS Brunswick plus ex-Dow, Presque Isle, and Loring AFBs.

Did you take the boat tour out of Ogunquit to get the pic of the York lighthouse?

Nice ride if you do.
