The last time I was sick was 1993 when I gave my last bottle of Sambucol to a co-worker who had the flu. At the time, you had to mail order it while now you can find it at Walmart.

He never replaced it as was agree to and I should have known better. He was addicted to Diet Cokes and drank three a day at work. He was always making bets with people over a case of Cokes but never paid up when he lost.

Yep. No blowjobs from monkeys, or dudes blowing monkeys. No even blowjobs from dudes who get blowjobs from monkeys. Just skip all of that. Safer, and more effective than social distancing or huffing microplastics 24/7.

A) The new strain seems to be spreading with close proximity but probably not sexual contact.

B) The support system is very low in those countries but the lethality rate is high.

I don’t see a reason for the news to be concerned but the CDC etc do need to look at it.

Remember when the news covered a dog and young boys contracting it, and then the media stopped covering the entire topic entirely?

I heard on the radio this morning that monkey pox is very high in the Congo.
Lets just stop travel to and from Africa for a couple of months.

You know, I think social distancing might actually work with this one. Let's stay 6ft away.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Looks like it spreads more or less like AIDs did, except there isn't the long delay between infection and when it presents in the recipient.
That should make it much easier to determine who has it and where they got it, preventing the silent transmission seen in AIDS.
It's also no where near as fatal, shown as 10% or less but really much less. Most get over it with no treatment.
