Yeah, it’s the left committing these cyber attacks! What an idiot.

I am going Ukraine or some other country aligned with them and upset we are not willing to throw another few billion dollars to facilitate the death of troops.

“The left” committing cyber attacks?

Vast majority of the time these attacks are from a foreign actor.

Is it a U.S. citizen who identifies as democrat? I guess it could be, but still more unlikely and not “the left”.

Twitter and X have been the victim of large-scale cyber attacks about a dozen times. But now it’s the “left” targeting them.

As someone VERY familiar with the topic, I promise if this person had ANY proof it was the left then we’d already be reading about it.

It’s a possibility I’ll be killed by a coked-up panda on the loose from a zoo, but I’m not broadcasting it as though I’m sure. Yall reverse the words and you’d see how ridiculous this is.

Elon said the IP addresses used in the attack are Ukrainian. Only Ukrainians would commit an act of cyber terror like this. I'm not really an IT guy but I don't think you can mask your IP with that from another country and I doubt Russia would have reason to frame Ukraine since they are trying so hard to work with Trump on ending the war. How brazen that they would jeopardize their access to Starlink knowing how heavily dependent they are on it.

OK, I'll play.

But why you would get coked up, break into a zoo to kill a panda, that's just redicu.... Oh. Now I get it.

Anyone smart enough to attack an American company this large would likely use a VPN or cloud based IP. It only shows as Ukrainian because they wanted it to.

That being said, it is POSSIBLE that this is the exception, my luck it is.

What about it? Short selling of stocks is a democrat only practice?

Guys,

Anything is possible, but a cyber attack by a left-sponsored actor in order to organize a mass short selling of a stock is some Hollywood movie stuff. I’m no longer in the game since I left my last assignment, but I wouldn’t bet my lunch money that this is the case.

As to the post, to so emphatically claim it’s the “left” doing this means you’re either the greatest predictor of all time or an idiot. I’m not that confident to say something like that and that was my previous job to find out who done it. That’s a dumb claim to make because I know he doesn’t know who did it.

I think it is. The Left is not just in the USA, much of the leadership in western Europe hates Trump and wants to see him fail. And we don't know how deep the USAID and other Leftist taxpayer-funded slush accounts go, but I am sure the trails lead deep into Europe.

If it is a coordinated sell-off in large numbers, which is what he seems to be claiming, then yes, the Left could be the culprits. Starbuck may be making irresponsible claims, as you said, but the Left isn't just here in the US.

I'm not running with anything. I have seen enough over the last 8+ years, even more over the last 7 weeks, that I wouldn't rule anything out regarding the depths the Left will sink to, or the size of their schemes.

I am not saying you are wrong, but I am saying I wouldn't dismiss Starbuck's claims so easily.

I agree, anything is possible, but I’m saying making those claims is silly unless he has a crystal ball or likes to gamble. Either way they aren’t intelligent claims.

Well, get hold of Elon Musk ASAP. No doubt, he can use your help, what with only 50 or 60 of the top cybersecurity experts on the planet on his payroll.

Hell, Otto, even I have tools that tell me if an IP segment is being utilized by VPN networks.

"Cute" is you thinking Musk and his engineers can't make the distinction and would be fooled by a VPN. If Musk says the traffic originated in the Ukraine, then, it originated in the Ukraine.
