I have no foot, joint, or back pain, even though I’m “getting up there”. And I use quite a bit of turmeric in my cooking. One thing not mentioned in the article: There isn’t much curcumin, the active ingredient, in turmeric, but black pepper helps prevent your liver from removing it from your blood, greatly increasing its effectiveness. And I use a LOT of black pepper too.

“It is the latest health fad - present in everything from soy lattes to vegan cakes.

But there may be something in the health craze for turmeric after all.

A scientifically robust study, published in a respected medical journal, has found that the yellow spice may be an effective painkiller [a therapeutic rather than a pain killer] for arthritis.

A randomised, double-blinded, placebo-controlled clinical trial concluded that extract of turmeric was more effective than a 'dummy' placebo treatment at reducing knee pain…”

Can't speak to arthritis, but I've been taking a 500mg capsule of Turmeric Curcumin daily for a couple of years now and it really helps with my bursitis.

Look into golden paste. It's made with turmeric, ground black pepper and coconut oil. We make it at home and give it to our 16 year old terrier. He had troubles walking and now runs around the house like a 5 year old.

Golden paste also works on humans Smile

Turmeric/Curcumin alone has helped me. CBD oil alone has helped me. The two together have really helped me.
