See where Spieth apparently celebrated by buying a $7 million mansion this week .

Woods was ungracious when he won and petulant when he didn't. By all reports he treated almost everyone poorly. He is humorless. I don't miss him at all, even though he was an incredible talent. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

Just my opinion but for Woods to win as much as he did for such a long time exposes an unhealthy mind and an almost sociopathic ego. The horrible sports media fed his sickness throughout his career. He thrived on a hate fed to him by his father. As he attempted to recover his old glory, the ad campaigns claimed winning fixes everything. Not when you're as broken as Tiger Woods always was. Set the controls for the heart of the Sun.

That could well be true, but psychoanalysis is above my skill level. Woods had a great innate physical talent, and he honed it from a very young age. He also had a tremendous will to win, and that may well have come from some personality defect, or maybe it caused the personality defect. Hard to say. Nicklaus also had the will to win - he never entered a tournament without the specific intention to win it. He was also a prodigious talent, but the mental aspect is truly the most important thing at that level of golf. But Nicklaus kept it within its proper bounds. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

THe media was a huge cause of people seeing Tiger in a bad light. "As our current leader tees off, let's watch Tiger walk up the fairway". Announcers still can't do a broadcast without mentioning him. __________________________________________________________________________________ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Always remember that others may hate you but those who hate you don't win unless you hate them. They say when you get a great meal/service at a restaurant only the waiter/chef knows. When you get a bad one then EVERYBODY knows. Kind of like the way it is with Tiger. He could be nice to 50 people in a row, tip 20 straight waiters well, sign 100 straight autographs, assist with millions of $ in charity support BUT when you cut it off on the 101st autograph seeker because you need to go to the bathroom then he is forever known as a jackass. Now I don't know his real statistics on such matters but this is the same thing the media does with Trump and the local "if it bleeds it leads" newscast. Same everywhere. We expect them to be perfect because of their fame and money ~ NEWSFLASH > their not, and neither are we.

I believe in the principle of Due Process |
It's always good to see a fellow alum do well. \m/ Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

That would be cool to see Kuchar get his first major win. The wife and I followed him around at the Tour Championship at East Lake for a bit this past September. She also wanted to follow Bubba with his odd little ticks, she wanted to see that in person, he's quite the odd fellow.

Bubba sucks. Kooch is the man. Just gotta make some putts. I kinda think more difficult conditions would benefit him. Course played super easy on Thursday and today. I'm gonna vote for the funniest frog with the loudest croak on the highest log.

Like the one he missed after Spieth's downhill birdie on 18 to gain another stroke? Harshest Dream, Reality

This is starting to look legendary. How the hell did he come up with bogey after the worst tee shot I've ever seen by a pro? Then two back to back 30+ putts for birdies. Unbelievable.
