They got home just as I started bleeding out of my ears.

I was almost at the point of hugging a pillow and doing my best Rainman imitation.

Pain meds. You also need a nice bottle of good bourbon within reach. They interact when taken because the "care givers" don't give a shit. Don't leave them off easy, make sure everyone knows how insensitive they were to leave with the microwave going.

On the pain meds.. I learned my lesson 7 years ago. I was in the hospital being cared for by a nice young nursey. She was even fun to watch. And she'd come around every 4 hours and dish out pain meds. 2 of them. But I hated the prison and really wanted to go home, even if it meant not getting caring attention. Yes, my wife is a nurse, but an old one (she's my age). So we filled the pain pill prescription and on the side the instructions were simple. One or two pills every 4 to 6 hours as needed. To the nice you nurse, that was 2 pills every 4 hours. To my uncaring wife, one pill every 6 hours. Big difference. Its what moved me to take over my own pain management. Things were better even if I couldn't get the young cutey to attend.

Back to the root cause. Medical people don't care. They don't feel a thing.

If it's ECAS, I don't need the full 9 line or call for fire.... but MGRS and elevation would be helpful.

Results inconclusive. Requesting MOABM, same location.

I had their timing down and was beeping in time with them. If anyone had been recording me, I'd probably been out in an "I love me" coat and locked up.

The manual says you have to kick it to get the rotors turning.

Grandson (8) now puts things into the microwave and then runs back to the bedroom to watch my reaction when it starts beeping.

I used to like that kid.
