Thanks, 911Boss. That's actually really good to hear. Given that he was northbound out Tacoma, I wondered if he was TPD. He marched off after he was satisfied and I think that's all he wanted. I've had both good and bad interactions with TPD and would prefer to assign this guy to that mental file. That makes for one great encounter and one unnerving encounter with KCSO and another douche on the TPD score.

Similarly, it makes me feel bad. I had the notion all this time that he was KCSO. I wouldn't swear that he misidentified himself. Maybe he just never did, doing a highway stop in Fife.

Wow! I've been speeding on my bike and got a stern warning in a very professional demeanor. No gun drawing and pointing was needed.
That cop is going to cause more problems in the future.

only marked vehicles can make traffic stops in Ohio. Detectives do not have marked vehicles, so they can't make legal traffic stops under most circumstances. Lights are not enough, cruisers must have full decals.

He thought that was "low ready"?!

He would fail my NRA basic pistol class.

I predict that there will be many suggestions and statements about the law made here, and some of them will be spectacularly wrong. - jhe888
