 And I'm weeping as I type this. This poem always affects me that way. I have been to Normandy (5 Jun 2015) and several of the beautiful cemeteries in Europe (Verdun, Normandy, Luxembourg)--they are kept immaculaately. Veterans' Day (formerly Armistice Day, as I remember it) is special to all of us veterans. I remember buying poppies to wear as a younger person. flashguy David E.
