My son-in-law just shipped out last Sunday for the mid-east for a 12 month deployment. This is his second deployment and we are proud of his commitment.

I know the feeling. And thank you for your service.

I have had some "aha" moments in getting acquainted with some who have served in combat. I wish I understood then what I understand now.

To all who have served, or are serving... you have a made difference for the better,

Today here in England, UK and the rest of the commonwealth, it's slightly different - but the sense of it all is the same.
