He was cast into a den of deadly vipers. Prob technically and bureaucratically outclassed without anyone else in the organization with experience and connections needed to help him get things done, so he probably had no choice but to resign. His intense personality may have not helped, that can drain one's energy pretty fast with all the venom he was swimming in, or maybe just treading water. In any case I hope he restarts his show back up again, it was a great show.
