Though its usually the guys who pull most of the "Hold my beer" moments, these two girls have done their level best to push the boys out of the way on their climb to crazy. I really believe Boston Whaler should use some of their escapades in their sales documentation. You know Whaler's R&D department doesn't put their products through the ringer any harder than these two youngin's have. Smile

OMG, I thought I was the only one who watched that.

Boca or Haulover, which is worse?

Great video! I learned how to boat on a Boston whaler very similar to that blue top high flying whaler. Those girls know how to send it!

Lol I found that youtube channel a few weeks back. Very entertaining. Ocean boaters are nuts. I'll stick to my small inland lakes where the worst thing I have to deal with is jackasses in wake boats.

Generally Haulover, but given the right conditions, Boca can be pretty darn rough. Check this channel the next time a hurricane takes aim at South Florida and watch the big water at both inlets.

Those girls were great!!

My Dad bought a 13 ft Whaler, 33 hp Johnson, back in the '60s. My younger brother was a terror with it, his specialty was jumping wakes. I know that Johnson replaced the motor at least once and at one time built a motor for him. The hull cracked, too, and Whaler replaced it. This was in the Sandy Hook area of NJ. I don't know how many people were thrown from that boat or came back to the dock peeing in their pants.

Whalers are awesome boats. Ride like an outhouse in an earthquake, but awesome.

The rich kid boat to own when I was (not a rich) kid growing up in RI was a Whaler 13 with a Merc 50 on it. Would break 50 MPH and could tow two skiers.

A 50hp outboard on a 13ft whaler is a FUN combo. IIRC USCG ratings claim a 40hp as max for that boat. We had a 25 hp Johnson on our 13ft whaler and it was still pretty fast. I always wanted to ride on one with a 40hp outboard.

Ha! I've wasted entire evenings just watching Haulover inlet videos. Of the two, Haulover gets my vote as a rougher inlet over Boca, from the videos I've seen.

Where's Jimmy?

Check the back of the motor cowl for a red line flag sticker too.

Ft. Pierce inlet can get pretty rough also. Jupiter, too.
I worked many Boston Whaler photo shoots over the 20 years as a photo assistant. They are rough riding boats and wet. I have fed the fish many times!

I've been through Haulover and Boca inlets many times in different boats. Haulover wins IMHO.

Those Classic styled Whaler trihulls slap the water like a big brown beaver slapping the pond with his tail.

I bet they have hematuria after a play day running the inlet.

Can someone please explain to us non-boat people what is going on here?

This seems incredibly dangerous. The boats seem pretty close to each other and to the rocks.

Ha! I dunno much about Boca inlet, but for sheer human damage, Haulover's weekend booboo counts' are pretty impressive.
