Moderna in February and early March.
Slight sore arm each time as expected.
Flu like feeling starting about 8 hours after the second that lasted about 6 hours, down to nothing after 3 days.
Have not had the booster yet but most likely will after a bit more wait and see. The infection rate is very low in my area at this time.

Pfizer in March. First shot, slight pain at the site of the jab for the rest of the day. Second shot, constant slight headaches the next day, general feeling of "blah" all day. Got a good night's sleep and woke up the next morning feeling great.

Have been triple Pfizered, and glad of it. No pain during vaccination, no pain afterward, no side effects.

My wife had two Pfizer and then went J&J for her booster, and had a day right after the booster when she was feeling a bit under the weather, but no other effects.

Moderna. My arm was a little sore at the site of the injection for both doses.

My wife was fine for the first dose, and felt feverish, tired, and had a headache after the second dose for 36 to 48 hours, although it took about 12 hours for those symptoms to start. She was also given Moderna.

My wife, my son, and I all had both rounds of Moderna in the February to early May period. None of us had any side effects beyond a sore arm. The older daughter had Moderna in April and May and was a little sick for 12 to 16 hours after the first round. The younger daughter, the MD, was among the early group to get Pfizer and was sick for 12 hours following dose one but did well for dose two. None of us have had any issues since.

Got Pfizer 1&2 in March/April. Only side effect was a mildly sore arm.

Got the booster Monday. Again only a sore arm for two days.

Pretty sure we were Pfizer. First one made me feel a bit sluggish the next day. One hell of a sore arm. 2nd one no issues.

I would like this to be a single place for us to learn what those who have been vaccinated have experienced. There is another 900+ page thread where all that other stuff can be discussed for those interested, but what I’m asking for here would just get lost there."

Two doses of Pfizer for me. I had a ridiculously bad headache when I woke up after the second one. I did travel to Oaxaca after receiving it and drank half a bottle of mezcal that night. That wouldn't normally give me a headache though.

Got Pfizer shots 1 and 2 in Jan and Feb of 2021. Got 3rd booster 3 weeks ago.

The only side effect I had was soreness in the injection area, my left arm, similar to what you feel after a tetanus booster... soreness and muscle tightness. It lasted about 24 hours on the first shot. No side effects from shot 2 or 3.

I have gotten all three of the approved Pfizer shots. Other than some tenderness at the injection site, I have had zero side effects. I am 79.

My Wife and I (66/68) got our first Pfizer shot on 8/30/21 and after feeling bad for a couple of days, she tested positive for COVID on 9/3. I lost my sense of smell and taste the next Tuesday.

No, it wasn't from the shots. Other than a sore arm we didn't experience any side effects from the first shot. We had to wait an extra week over the recommended 2 weeks to get our second shot on 9/27. She had no side effects, but I had a slight fever and Flu like symptoms for 2 days.

Still can't smell or taste, but it took nearly 6 months after my first bout of COVID in Jan/Feb 2020, so I'm eager for that to come back. Gonna suck not being able to taste anything over Thanksgiving.

Had the two Moderna shots in March/April of 2021 as did my wife. We both had a bit of soreness on the arm and we both felt like we were getting the flu sort of. No fever but the wind was out of our sails for a day or two after each shot. My 13 YO daughter had a different version (2 shots)and seemed to have even less after effects the day after each. Plan to get the booster, probably from the VA also but have to drive 2.5-3 hours each way to Murfreesboro Alvin York VA. I refuse to call them Covid shots to anyone I interact with just out of utter disgust over how it’s used such that everyone’s live revolve around it. I call them rabies shots sort of like we all use Let’s Go Brandon.

Modernas in Jan/Feb. Short term, mild flu like symptoms for a day or two afterwards. Since then, my chronic low back pain has been much worse (facet arthropathy and DDD) and I've begun having other arthritic pains as well (hands/wrists) that were not present before. Correlation rather than causation, but I have declined the booster.

Talked with my Dr. Presented her with my research and my concerns. It was nice. She corrected some errors, etc. It was a discussion.

I signed up for and got the Morderna vaccine in March / April. I had a mild flu for a few days both times.

we are currently having a nice discussion about the booster, herd immunity etc.

2 shots of Pfizer, no symptoms. After my wife got her first shot she had some slight feminine bleeding for the first time in about 10 years. So a trip to her gyno, biopsy and ultrasound is going to cost me out of pocket. Her second shot just a sore arm. Hers was employer required.

Both my Wife and I (87/88) had the Moderna vax (Feb 2 & Mar 2), she had no reaction, I had reactions similar to those reported above (sore arm and fatigue) which lasted about 24 hours. We have been fine since.
She had a Moderna booster last week, slight 8 hour reaction.
I had a Pfizer booster last Friday (no Moderna was available) my reactions; sore arm and fatigue were slightly worse than the second Moderna, but in no way serious.

At our ages, and with "co-morbidities" on my part, any risk we might have with the vaccine is more than offset by the very serious risk from the disease. Our contemporaries have had serious problems and deaths.
