Happened to my whirlpool a decade ago. I googled how to fix it and found a video. There are a dozen You Tubes addressing this. I'd Google your make and model + leaking oil Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency. Neck Ties, Hats and ammo brass, Never ,ever touch'em w/o asking first | |||

There is a kit to buy which costs about $90. A couple of hours of your time will fix it up. A repairman will say "time to buy a new one"........ | |||

Fighting the good fight![]() |
As robust as they are, Speed Queens are still machines, and eventually need maintenance/repair. They're just easier to work on that most other washers due to being more analog than digital, plus you don't have to wait for parts to be shipped on a slow boat from Asia. | |||
