I'm almost certainly trying to ponder imponderables, but I'm still trying to figure out if she can be an at least vaguely reliable barometer of the Democrat's expectations for November.

Her entire career is based on lies and dishonesty, which, for the most part, have yielded success. The same holds true for Hillary and Obama. I might guess she feels corruption will win in the end.

Il Cattivo^^^ Hah! If anyone's bored enough, check out the history of the Rockingham faction in the Brit House of Commons back during the American Revolution. It's amazing that someone who does politics for a living could let themselves be shunted into a dead-end political position and stay there for years, but it is by no means unknown.

She ran to the left of Hillary to begin with. Since Hillary occupied the 'voice of reason' space in the Democratic Party (it's all relative, you know) and Bernie did so well, running to the left actually makes sense - for her.
