I've had Geico and Progressive - both similar in rates. Only had 1 claim years ago when I was with Progressive. They made it super easy without hassle. I'm with them now.

I have Progressive. Five BMW bikes on the same policy, mixed coverage, some full, some less. Think I am paying $210/year for everything.

I bounced between Geico and Progressive.

After a couple of years, I would get a good price hike for no reason.

I never had a claim.

I would go back to the other for their lower into rates.

Shop around for sure. When I had a bike, annual liability insurance rates ranged from a couple hundred dollars a year (Progressive) to as much as I actually paid for the bike (Geico).

Progressive ended up being the best deal for me even after I took into account bundle prices from my at the time car insurance provider, but I was really surprised how much variance there seemed to be between quotes. Progressive was also fantastic to deal with on the multiple occasions someone ran my bike over in the parking lot at work.

"The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford, "it is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards."
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."

State Farm was cheapest for me.

In 2016, I was 30yrs old and I bought a 2015 Suzuki Hayabusa.
200.00 month 0% APR loan.
186.00 month State Farm full coverage
Everywhere else quoted no less than 320.00 a month!

I still have the same plan and it is 51.00 per month. I live in a "No Fault" state.

Had State Farm for years but when I moved the local agent was a prick so I switched to Progressive.

Some companies give a discount if you take a Motorcycle Safety Foundation class.
