I’m guessing Putin has been watching the US renege on it’s obligations to other countries and administrations. He believes we are weak. Now is the time to reconstitute the Soviet Union. We’re war weary and in debt to the gills. It means very little to be a US ally anymore. China is opportunistic. When Putin moves China will be watching. Depending on how that goes, China may move. The Norks will spasm but get spanked so we can save face. All of this is a crying shame and the result of the US having been infected by Leftism and political correctness. We are decaying and the predators are circling.

If NATO gets jumpy, Putin shuts off the gas taps. So, he has some time constraints, too. But the Germans don't seem interested because the politicians really want to get re-elected. Hard to do when you cause the people to freeze for a war nobody wants.

FDR needed a war to clear out the financial rot and reset the state. The Fed needs a war to do the same now. I'm concerned, I don't want more dead American boys for rich people's fortunes.
