In cleaning up and reorganizing this week, I opened up an old trunk that had several hundred rounds of JHP .22lr I purchased in 1981 or 1982. It was $2.99 a box per the sales tag. Adjusted for inflation, its $10.02 today which is not all that different from what I can find it for at my LGS when on sale.

Just wait 6 months and try again. We (used to) import most of the nitrocellulose used in gunpowder from two countries.
Guess who isn't selling us any more. Military gets dibs on remaining stock
