Got back from a short trip to NYC. There are more police on foot than any city I have been. They are on the sidewalk and in the subway stations. Of course with a heavy doper / criminal population they could use more.

Another reason for me to be thankful not living in an urban area.

Here’s a thought to consider: The man who decked this “lady” probably owns a home and has a retirement account; the “lady” he decked has neither and probably no job nor income. In the world in which we live who’d suffer the greater loss should this event end up in court?

I watched that video several times, audio wasn't great so I couldn't hear the conversation between the woman and the older guy. I'm not sure what set her off or what made her tear the trash bags apart and toss them around.

I will say this, she had that look. That look of someone right on the edge of doing something really stupid and likely violent the entire time. She clearly went after him and grabbed him, no issues with him laying her out when she has that look on her face and is displaying that behavior.

They should have locked her sorry ass up for littering at the very least.

The other laugh was his Mel Brooks like NYC MAYOR jacket. (it's probably in part so his merry men can visually locate him in a crowd, but it's still funny/fitting)

He hit her open handed and lefty at that. That old guy was stout, my guess is he at least boxed golden gloves when he was a kid and seems to have stayed in pretty good shape. Statistically speaking he probably isn't a southpaw.
