Believe it or not, there are folks who worship Christ AND love the American tradition of the Christmas holidays, one doesn't have to pick a lane. And it is a tradition that is enjoyed worldwide.

There are those of us with wives, children, family, friends, who have for decades enjoyed the Christmas holidays of gatherings, gifts, trees, dinners, etc. I'm sorry you never had that experience. You speak of "reality" vs. fantasy, yet you relish in the fantasy of movies that are seeped in pure fantasy. With that personal experience, maybe you can understand why Christmas is a centuries tradition of families coming together, with love and enjoyment, why it is an important part of our yearly lives.

I pity your your "Bah, Humbug, Fuck Christmas" attitude towards a traditional family icon for centuries. I really do.
