I am not intending to be mean spirited or piss on anyone's thread, but since you asked:

I would very much like to never hear mention of this fucking holiday again for the rest of my life or the commercial bastardization that it's become. No more black Friday, cyber week, sales from October to new years... That is what I'd like from santa and then to never see or hear of his fat ass again either.

A Perpetual Disappointment...

Nope. Sorry, toys weren’t a thing to me since I was 10 years old and started working full time at that age. Toys were over, as there were bills that I had to pay. Never believed in it, because it’s as fake as a three dollar bill. I live in reality not fiction. Christ is literally in the name of the holiday and it has nothing to do, whatsoever, with Red Rider BB guns, fat mother fuckers with white beards who couldn’t fit down a chimney, reindeer, egg nog, stockings, a bunch of lights, etc, etc. People should get on their knees, and pray to Christ. Be thankful to get this thing called life, as it’s a gift and a blessing. You want to blow money on stuff this time of year? Cool, go help someone in need, instead of buying more consumer products that you do not need, using a fake holiday as your reasoning. This is capitalism so you can buy your consumer products year round, 24 hours a day, from your sofa. This whole thing is an abomination and a shit show from October to January, every year. If people had lives and hobbies, personal interests, passions, etc, they wouldn’t need fake ass holidays to give them something to do. Yeah, I’m super opinionated because I believe in God and Christ. And that man bled to death, was whipped by weapons, and tortured to death, making a personal sacrifice. If you’re going to do anything, be mindful of that. If you aren’t a believer, no faith, cool, skip all this fake shit then and cut down on the traffic, insanity, etc. Some of us have real lives to live and need our groceries, need to get to the doctors office, or whatever. Essential commitments to our lives and we shouldn’t have to literally go through Hell or High Water this time of year to get this shit done. My goodness how fake can our society be? There is no limit to the depths of it.

We've all had it hard, dude. It's a light-hearted post. Maybe cut back on the coffee.

There's always somebody who jumps into a "What's your favorite team?" thread and says "I hate football!"

For me, a new disk for my back, a new left knee and a new right ankle.

Take all of the lefty wing nut cases that continuously ruin everything here in WA and deposit them someplace else...maybe like Antarctica. That's not too much to ask for, I think.

Prefontaine, Goddamn, son. You don't need to barge through threads with a raging hard-on. You'd better learn to find some joy. The world is what it is and you should try to make the best of it. We're all in the same boat. Stop pissing on the life preservers.

Lighten up.

If you want to rage at the world, start your own thread. Manners.

If it is not too much to ask. I would like a couple maybe three legit hitters for my Mariners. Maybe a 1b, 3b and right fielder.

Since we traded our left fielder tonight add one of those too who can bat at least .275. Oh and santa a DH would be nice too.

Oh and lastly a GM who doesn't give the farm away in every trade would be helpful too.

Let's see...40 isolated acres up on a big hill in Searcy County, Arkansas, near the Buffalo River. Small cabin. Top of the line kayak for smallmouth bass fishing.

I'd like to have back my first car, a 1979 Toyota Celica-Supra in "copper penny" color. Alloy wheels, V6 EFI, sunroof...10 years ahead of its time. I honestly still dream about that car...

A Colt LE6920 rifle with Colt-stamped magazines.

A Nighthawk Sandhawk 2011 9mm.

Wouldn’t it be nice to come back from vay cay and be caught up. I wish that for you too!

Me, well I would love another special needs Aussie pup. It’s time. I have been without Willow for quite awhile now and my heart is ready.

I'd love new windows for my house. They're all 72 years old single pane and way past their lifespan. At least I have storm windows over them or my heating bill would be insane.

If Santa doesn't come through, then that's our next big project in 1-2 years, God willing.

A real nice new 28 foot boat, with a dock right next to a house on the intercostal waterway. And gas money.

Oh, wait, he’s Santa, not a genie. How about a new Benelli Super Sport in 12 ga.?

THIS is a proper list for Santa to leave next to the tree. Cool

I’ve been soooooooo tempted by the deals on civilian HK variants of the HK MP5. One of these days I may indulge myself and get my dream pistol/rifle or whatever it identifies as these days. Big Grin Big Grin

Hardly an "adult" wish, but assuming that Santa has genie-like powers:

1) Perfect health
2) Perfect fortune
3) Perfect timing

Note that none of these have an expiration date!
