Good luck to all the teams, I just want to see good clean hard hockey played with speed and skill. And extra good luck to all the kids trying to crack the roster on the big teams.

Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

And I LOVE Hockey! It is so simple to understand the rules, No Icing, No off sides, and no guns allowed on the ice!

A gun in the hand is worth more than ten policemen on the phone.

Let's go Blues!!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Preds!

"The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford, "it is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards."
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."

Let's go Caps. Between Las Vegas and free agency, my team is very different. I don't think we are picking up another Presidents Trophy.

I can only hope we don't win the Presidents Trophy this year. We need to finish the season strong and play well in the playoffs.

I don't care what our regular season record is as long as we make the playoff. Then is the time to play great hockey.
