Car pulls out in front of motorcyclist, the result of the crash is crazy. He is alive and went to the hospital with injuries obviously.

Watch as the bike flips through the air and ends up hanging from the street light pole..

That’s one way to hang out at the mall, cruise chicks, and suck face.

We need poles like that down here because ours fall over whenever they get hit by a hurricane.

Pretty sure that's the same guy involved in the accident. I appears that part of the video was edited/freeze-framed to show the 'stoppie'/moment just prior to impact, and NOT the actual moment of impact.

^^ That part of the frame freezes, but everything else around it continues in motion. You never actually see the bike between the 'stoppie' image and on the hood/headed skyward. Look again.

It looks like the bike did about 3-4 somersaults getting up to the traffic light and by chance hooked the bar holding the traffic light right behind the front tire.

I will never understand why we are still using a green circle light to allow people to make a left hand turn across traffic.

The only left hand turn allowed should be on a green ARROW or a flashing yellow ARROW.

People are too out of it and distracted and as soon as they see green they go even if the green circle means they still need to yield to oncoming traffic.

This simple change would virtually eliminate the most deadly intersection accidents.

It costs $$$ to make those simple changes.

Had a buddy pull from a green light with a building on his left. Girl ran the red light to his left. He saw jer amd hit the binders. She hit his front wheel and took the bike right out from under him. He just stepped off and was standing in the intersection!

How much can it be to reprogram the lights to only use a green arrow or a yellow flashing arrow instead of the current green circle to signal a left turn?

I don’t know how they are reprogrammed and I wouldn’t think it would be that expensive. If a government can’t get such an obvious safety improvement done then how useless are they.

Roundabouts would help eliminate the problem at all intersections, and the Right to go Left rule, ergo, no left turns anywhere....

You would then be left with roundabouts or intersections with lights for crossing, then you're back to idiots running lights.

Could put up restraining nets at intersections, like the one used to arrest gets landing on carriers should they miss the cable!
