From FenderBender‘s post above:

“Multiple Minnesota officials served by the FBI with grand jury subpoenas for conspiring to impede ICE:

- Gov Tim Walz
- Attorney General Keith Ellison
- Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey
- St. Paul Mayor Kaohly Her
- Ramsey County Attorney John Choi
…”

Why am I not seeing this in the MSM?

If it’s real the MSM types would be outraged by it.

Vance to Visit Minneapolis Amid Heightened ICE Tensions

Vice President JD Vance will visit Minneapolis on Thursday to deliver remarks focused on "restoring law and order" in Minnesota and hold a roundtable with local leaders and community members, the White House said Wednesday.

Vance's visit comes as tensions have escalated in Minneapolis this month over Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations and investigations into alleged fraud involving the city's Somali community.

Protests erupted in Minneapolis following two shootings involving federal law enforcement.

On Jan. 7, Renee Good, 37, was shot and killed as her vehicle struck an ICE officer, federal authorities said.

A week later, a federal officer shot an illegal alien in the leg during a traffic stop after officials said the man and others attacked the agent with a shovel and broom handle.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Attorney General Pam Bondi, Border Patrol Chief Greg Bovino, and other federal officials have visited Minnesota since Good's death.

On Sunday, a number of anti-ICE protesters disrupted services at Cities Church in St. Paul. One of the church's pastors, David Easterwood, allegedly leads the local ICE field office overseeing operations involving the arrest of illegal aliens.

The Department of Justice said it's investigating the incident.

Vance last visited Minneapolis in September in the wake of the deadly shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church. He and second lady Usha Vance visited a memorial outside the church and held private meetings with families affected by the shooting.

Hopefully Vance's visit is a precursor to declaration of an insurrection in Minneapolis.

I hope not. I think it is too soon to bring in the military. Following the "Guide to the Analysis of Insurgency," published by the CIA, I believe we are in the "Incipient Conflict" stage, where the government has to be very careful not to over-react to the insurgents. It will be much better if the gov. can deal with this using LE resources and other means. To bring in the military is an admission by the government that they are losing or have lost control, which will embolden and fuel the insurrection. This is what the insurrectionists want. I believe the pressure the DOJ is bringing on Walz, Frey, et. al. is the next step of legal pressure to avoid having to invoke the Insurrection Act. Thus far, no real clear leaders have actually revealed themselves, so we need to deal with those that have shown their faces, and right now, that is Walz, Frey, et. al. If we can get them into line, then local LE can step in and help quell the violence.

Today, Border Patrol agents who were in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area as part of a targeted enforcement operation were repeatedly harassed and blocked by hostile crowds while simply trying to take bathroom breaks.

At each gas station where the agents stopped to use the restroom, groups of agitators appeared, yelled at them, stalked them, and even tried to prevent law enforcement vehicles from leaving, creating unsafe conditions. At one stop, individuals in the crowd threw food at the agents. At their final gas station stop, someone spit on an agent. When an agent moved to detain the person who spit on him, the crowed tackled and attacked the agents while surrounding them.

To safely clear the area agents had to use crowd control measures to disperse the hostile crowd.

@DrDan, I think our biggest failing, was to ever consider communists/socialists part of our society.

They reject being American. Our system cannot tolerate the presence of those who reject it.

I support this.

My 1st reaction is why don't these people focus their time and efforts on changing the laws they are so unhappy about? Seems way more logical than trying to stop enforcement of federal law. My second reaction is I think this is a combination of TDS and fueling the welfare system. Libtard/Socialists Loooooove welfare, it keeps their customers coming and in turn gives them the power and control they need.

Dr Dan-
Yes and no.
Remember, there’s different layers of government.
Local (City & County), State and Federal.

In this case, the Local government is failing, State government isn’t helping.
Why? Well, “Orange Man Bad” and they are definitely against the Orange Man. At some point, someone needs to step in.
That would fall under the Feds.
President Trump already said February all funding for sanctuary cities stops. There’s one way of applying pressure. However the leftist are going to wait it out and hope one of theirs gets elected next presidential election.
It’s the time between now and then is what’s important. Nip this shit in the bud now!

I suspect that same money is lining the wallets and purses of many politicians in Washington.

I have read many articles the past several weeks of everything that has been taking place. I recall reading at least two that were naming names of individuals who were heading up NGO's that were funding these protests. If investigative reporters are able to uncover this seemingly easy enough why haven't the Feds acted on it? Stopping the money flow can't be that difficult. As soon as the protesters stopped getting paid they will go do whatever else it is they do. Protesting is supplemental income to the social services that they are likely already receiving. Shut the NGO's down. If the money continues to show up track that.

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday morning that arrests have been made following the storming of a church service in Minnesota earlier this week by leftists.

Bondi said the arrests stem from an incident in which a group of anti-ICE agitators stormed a worship service at Cities Church in St. Paul.

“Minutes ago at my direction, @HSI_HQ and @FBI agents executed an arrest in Minnesota,” Bondi wrote in a post on X.

“So far, we have arrested Nekima Levy Armstrong, who allegedly played a key role in organizing the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota,” she added.

Bondi said that the federal government would ensure left-wing agitators did not get away with targeting Christians.

“Listen loud and clear: WE DO NOT TOLERATE ATTACKS ON PLACES OF WORSHIP,” she wrote.

Shortly afterward, Bondi issued an update announcing a second arrest.

“UPDATE: A second arrest has been made at my direction,” she wrote. “Chauntyll Louisa Allen has been taken into custody.”

Bondi added, “More to come. WE WILL PROTECT OUR HOUSES OF WORSHIP.”

Earlier this week, during a service at the church in St. Paul, anti-immigration fanatics targeted Cities Church.

Per Newsweek, David Easterwood, who leads the Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office in St. Paul, also serves as a pastor at the
Church.
