I am torn and don't really want to spark a debate but,
I would prefer Trump NOT deploy the Guard so California will burn and have to deal with more of the S*#t they created..
But deploying the Guard will also spark the riots but at least they're on the ground kicking ass and taking bodies away...and hopefully to FEDERAL detention/courts where they will be properly prosecuted.
I am giddy with excitement either way

Hegseth says he’s ready to send ‘active duty Marines’ to LA if violence continues
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced that he will deploy active duty Marines to Los Angeles if the violence continues among anti-ICE protests.
"The violent mob assaults on ICE and Federal Law Enforcement are designed to prevent the removal of Criminal Illegal Aliens from our soil; a dangerous invasion facilitated by criminal cartels (aka Foreign Terrorist Organizations) and a huge NATIONAL SECURITY RISK," he wrote on X Saturday.
"Under President Trump, violence & destruction against federal agents & federal facilities will NOT be tolerated. It’s COMMON SENSE," he added.
Hegseth also wrote that the Pentagon is "mobilizing the National Guard IMMEDIATELY to support federal law enforcement in Los Angeles" and if the "violence continues, active duty Marines at Camp Pendleton will also be mobilized — they are on high alert."

To reduce future participation, any arrestees need to be made to pay dearly for their actions. Not in fines, since the Soros crowd would likely just pay them, but with a year or two in prison which might be a bigger personal disincentive!

Los Angeles is bracing for yet another day of what appears to be coordinated rioting sparked by mass arrests of illegals by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The unrest has involved organized elements affiliated with far-left activist cells, including Marxist-aligned nonprofits (see below).
The situation over the last two days has quickly deteriorated into looting, arson—including the burning of vehicles—and direct assaults on law enforcement personnel. Kyle Rittenhouse accomplished what the Kenosha mayor had been unable to: he ended the riots where he was. The riots resumed elsewhere in the city, but they could have been stopped at any time if the police had been openly encouraged to do their job and protected when they did so.
Of course, the police can do their job, but then the DA has to step up and do his, too.

If it could be deployed via air, like agriculture application methods, it might work very well along the US - Mexico border, as well.
