ICE agents descended on multiple businesses in downtown Los Angeles, including a Home Depot, and carried out immigration raids on Friday.

Several people were taken into custody.

Far-left protestors clashed with federal agents as they conducted their raids. The protestors threw projectiles at agents and blocked vans from leaving.

Some protestors threw eggs at the federal agents. The FBI arrived on the scene.

It occurs to me that the success our the United States or any Republic is dependent on the population to be willing to adhere by the rule of law.

California is beyond that point now. They celebrate illegal immigration and protect illegals, along with many other crimes and criminals. Of course they are pandering to a population that is unwilling to adhere to the rule of law.

That post by the mayor should get her a federal charge of obstruction, a perp-walk, and booking in front of the cameras. Any politician that says one official word about "sanctuary" and gives one order to their police not to cooperate with ICE needs to be charged. Leftists only understand force. Let them see have it.

The riots in Los Angeles were totally endorsed by Mayor Bass, a call for people to stop ICE. It is reported that they are breaking up concrete blocks in the city infrastructure with hammers to throw chunks at ICE and LE. Like all of the other "protests", this is not a peaceful demonstration, this is pure violence. To me, it is amazing that this is the hill that Democrats want to die on.

The one nice thing to think about is that these rioters don't understand the difference between a federal officer and a local police officer. Someone is going to throw a brick or a bottle and end up throwing away a couple years of their life.

And this is only going to get worse.
Tactics against ICE are going to become more violent and aggressive.
Then when one of the protesters gets hurt or killed, the whining and yelling will be of “It’s all ICE’s and Trumps fault!”

Homeland Security urges Democrats to tone down rhetoric as ICE officers get assaulted in LA

The Department of Homeland Security on Saturday called on Democrat politicians to tone down the rhetoric against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers conducting raids after some officers were assaulted.

"Last night, over 1,000 rioters surrounded a federal law enforcement building and assaulted ICE law enforcement officers, slashed tires, defaced buildings, and taxpayer-funded property," DHS said in a press release.

The department said it took the Los Angeles Police Department two hours to respond.

"These riots in Los Angeles and increased assaults on ICE officers come after Democrat politicians, including Hakeem Jeffries, Mayor Wu of Boston, Tim Walz, and Mayor Bass of Los Angeles, have villainized and demonized ICE law enforcement," the department stated.

Federal agents conducted two major raids on Friday in Southern California, including one raid that featured flash-bang grenades to disperse an angry crowd in Los Angeles.

The first raid took place at a clothing wholesaler in the Fashion District of downtown Los Angeles. The second raid saw federal agents descend on a Home Depot where illegal migrants who are looking for day labor go to find work.

ICE Acting Director Todd Lyons put out a statement that rioters assaulted federal law enforcement officers and criticized Democratic Mayor Bass for her poor leadership during the incident.

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said the violence against ICE agents must end.

“The violent targeting of law enforcement in Los Angeles by lawless rioters is despicable and Mayor Bass and Governor Newsom must call for it to end," McLaughlin said in a statement. "The men and women of ICE put their lives on the line to protect and defend the lives of American citizens.

"Make no mistake, Democrat politicians like Hakeem Jeffries, Mayor Wu of Boston, Tim Walz, and Mayor Bass of Los Angeles are contributing to the surge in assaults of our ICE officers through their repeated vilification and demonization of ICE," she added. "From comparisons to the modern-day Nazi gestapo to glorifying rioters, the violent rhetoric of these sanctuary politicians is beyond the pale. This violence against ICE must end."

For years, I regularly saw NO ICE signs hung from the pedestrian overpasses over the 5 frwy heading into LA. It’s about time that this problem is being addressed. Illegal means just was it means. Time to go home… bye-bye. Thank you Mr. Homan. Job well done! More please.

Siege warfare is what LA is all about. When Rodney King got roughed up, they burned this city to the ground. I’m not kidding that as I looked over the city, with the fires and smoke rising, it truly felt like I was in a foreign war zone. So, these people have been successful with these actions. Start locking up these people and enforce the law! I am 110% for ICE doing this action!
