I thought all the Eagles fans would get a laugh out of this one; a play on the Zen-master like stocism this QB always seems to display and also the “Brotherly Shove” or “Tush Push” rugby-like tactic the Eagles have been using to their favor:

Every time they do that Brotherly Shove thing and Jalen Hurts is on the bottom of that pile, I’m cringing and hoping he doesn’t get hurt though. The guy can squat 600 pounds, I heard one sports commentator describe his legs as “tree stumps“ Eek

I like Jalen even though I barely follow the NFL anymore. From what I've read he seems like a stand up guy though that's really hard to know. I like the Angry pic the best.

What face does he make when losing to the 49ers at home?

What happened to the Iggles? I thought they were a lock according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. What's next a Giants upset?

The appear to go going down the same road as the Phillies; start off going gangbusters and get overconfident then collapse right at the worst time.

I'm glad that sports is not really a huge deal for me, I watch because my boys love it but it's easy to walk away and write them off unlike people like my FIL who are very invested and is furious right now with the coaching and the QB.

I love to see Jerry Jones frown. What he did to Tom Landry was disgraceful and despicable! What a piece of garbage.

Everything gets amped up in the playoffs... well except for Jalen Hurts. Razz

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I really enjoyed watching the Eagles complete the "implosion" of their season. Thank you for finishing them off Tampa Bay.

We were all looking at each other in disbelief last night at the halfhearted “tackling”, at one point I turned to someone and said “do they think they are playing flag football here?”

I think something happened with this head coach, and half or more of the players lost confidence in him and they purposefully started playing like shit at the end trying to get him fired, I’m convinced.

Interesting theory, I'll offer a few others.

They were overconfident.

They were under committed.

The just suck.

Well their tackling sure sucked. Maybe they had a big bet riding on the game.

I don’t think this falls under conspiracy theories so here goes. 10 billion a year in sports book betting means somebody is cheating somewhere. Somebody is laying down, somebody is dropping a ball, it’s real.

I don’t know how this happened so fast but sports betting is taking over the game. About every third or fourth commercial is a gambling commercial of some sort. Hell, even the reporters segue into the over under, point spread, etc.

I’m not a big govt guy but for fucks sake if you can’t advertise a cigarette on tv then you shouldn’t be able to advertise gambling. This is going to hit society sooner rather than later.
