I am looking to expand my horizons on the affordable Bourbon I can enjoy when I want a drink.

Currently, my go-to CHEAP Bourbon is Very Old Barton.

Any other suggestions? I’m not a fan of overly sweet Bourbons.

My first question would be, what is your price point for a 750ml bottle.

Ancient Ancient Age 10 Star.

I discovered this last year. $15.00 for a liter and $25.00 for a 1.75 liter.

Good enough to drink straight and inexpensive enough to mix.

There are a lot of good, inexpensive Bourbons out there.

Buffalo Trace is good if you can find it in your area. Generally $25 for a bottle.

Wild Turkey 101. In central Fl you can find it for less than $25 a bottle.
Bought a bottle to bring with me to Disney last week. Bought it to make mixed drinks however it was good by it self.

For $5 to $7 dollars more you could get 1792 Small batch,Knob Creek 9 year,Larceny Very Special Small Batch Bourbon.
These are all good every day Bourbons. These prices are all here in central Florida.
Not sure what prices around you would be.

Old Forrester is my new go-to “cheap” sippin’ bourbon. It’s the well whiskey at the Delta Sky Club and I am hooked. Buffalo Trace is also great but harder to find and it’s getting popular so the price is raising. In some areas it’s near impossible to find.

Makers Mark is what I typically drink at bars because pretty much every bar has a bottle. Occasionally I’ll find Knob Creek or Buffalo Trace or Old Forrester but Makers Mark is very common.

I like Henry McKenna sour mash, currently $19.99 (cash price) for 1.75L at Frugal MacDoogal in South Carolina, vs $25.95 North Carolina ABC store price.

I like Basil Haden or Bulleit in that price range or just a bit more. I put a dram of water in it just like Grannie showed me.
