I liked my old 2005 F150. It was a great truck and never cost me a penny but I was looking at putting in some bucks on a number of items and I was really getting tired of the 14-15 mpg. So it was time for her to go.

The new one is a 2019 Colorado LT, Redline Edition. 3.6 V6 engine that puts out 308 hp with 275 lbs of torque. 8 speed transmission, 4x4, crew cab, all leather, heated steering wheel and seats and tow package with the auto locking rear differential. With less than a thousand miles, I've been getting 21-22 mpg and that should improve when I get out of the break-in period and the drive train settles in. I really like this truck. Smile

Very nice and good luck with it.
Now, get it out of the garage and get some dirt on it!

Nice looking truck. Im thinking about replacing my old 99 Dodge Dakota. It's a nice truck and gets me everywhere I want to go, but that V8 in that little truck is a lot of engine and I'm starting to replace parts too often now. Hope you enjoy your new ride.

Good looking truck!

Question about leg room in the driver's seat (the most important criterion for me in a vehicle): Is there enough room for somebody with REALLY long legs? Headroom is never a problem for me, but most vehicles come up short on leg length.

One of the local SIGforum members had a Tacoma for sale. He brought it to the airport so I could try it. Sadly, my long legs did not fit. Frown

A neighbor of mine has one ... they are nice.
Plenty of power and a lot more efficient.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I'm not big...5'10" with short legs so I have plenty of room. I can tell you that the steering wheel is adjustable up and down and in and out, also, the seat will go WAY back. But the only way to know for sure is to sit in one. Sorry, I know, not much help.

Nice truck!
I’m in the market over the next few months and the Colorado is on my short list.
I didn’t know you could get leather on the LT trim..I’ll have to look into that.

Got any pics of the interior?

Great buy! I have a 2017 Z71 Crew Cab 4x4 and have already put 45k miles on it and it's been great. You should love yours...Those Redline editions look killer!

smlsig, his should tow the same as mine, about 7,000 lbs.

Hey, thanks to all for the nice comments.

Oz_Shadow: The tow rating is 7700lbs. I wouldn't tow that much with it but I will be hauling around my tractor. The tractor with the front loader and brush hog probably weighs pretty close to 5000lbs.

smlsig: I ran out to the garage and took some quick pics of the interior. Here they are.

Very nice! I love your choice of trim packages. On a stupid side note, my Dad always taught me that it's a pickup until is has six tires. YMMVBig Grin

My coworker has a 2016 & I had no complaints at 6'0"

Crazy about the Tacoma, my brother-in-law has a 2016 ext cab & with the seat all the way back, I have to stretch for the pedals. He's roughly 6'2", but maybe a bit more torso than legs.

Nice to see them getting mileage up into the 20's. It's amazing how much the S10->Colorado has grown in size. That truck looks as big as a 1500.

So what’s the difference between the LT with the Redline trim and the Z71?
