I love my Colorado. I bought the Z71 Duramax. Runs like a champ, you will love your truck. Congrats.

Very nice truck congratulations! It was almost a toss up for me between Canyon or Ridgeline, maybe should have gone with a Canyon.

No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

Just depends on how bad you want to tow something heavy-ish and/or go off road.

If I was just a little smaller that’s the truck I looked at buying....but it’s just a little too small in the interior for me....great trucks though..

As it is, I think I will always opt for the bench seat in front...9/10 if there is center console stuff on the floor in the middle it hits my legs in a way that causes my right foot to fall asleep...

I did like that truck, though...congrats!

Nice truck. I'd like a Colorado ZR2 Bison with the diesel engine. But wow! $$$$

The Z71 and Redline trim packages do overlap in several areas. Redline offers custom 18 inch aluminum wheels with red accents, red tow hooks, red accented lettering, blacked out emblems and shrouds and blacked door handles, just to name a few. I will say this, it's a pricey package. I almost didn't do it but the wife just looked at me and said this may be your last truck...get what you want. So I did. Smile

The ZR2 is the most advanced package and includes a lot of off-road stuff including a taller profile. This one is some serious dollars. The Bison version is so new I haven't even seen one on the road yet but I know they are out there.

Yes, these trucks are getting some pretty impressive miles per gallon. When mine settles all in I should see 24-25 mpg on the freeway. The V6 LGZ engine has amazing power and you can really feel it when you put your foot into it. I had some reservations about the new 8 speed transmission but mine has been flawless with really seemless shifting. Time will tell.

Question about leg room in the driver's seat (the most important criterion for me in a vehicle): Is there enough room for somebody with REALLY long legs? Headroom is never a problem for me, but most vehicles come up short on leg length.

One of the local SIGforum members had a Tacoma for sale. He brought it to the airport so I could try it. Sadly, my long legs did not fit. Frown
The legroom for the driver is 45 inches which is not exceeded by many vehicles. MG

Gorgeous truck!
I was looking to replace my 5.0 Mustang GT 6-speed and Corolla with a Colorado or a Tacoma.
Everybody said the Tacoma is such a good truck...

When I drove the Colorado, I liked it so much more. Even with my V8 Mustang, the Colorado feels outright fast with the 8-speed. And they have automatic 4wd which is really cool.

Enjoy!

I think the Colorado and Canyon are the best looking trucks made at this time. I really like their looks. Very sharp.

Congrats on your truck, enjoy it.
