Let's all attack the low hanging fruit. This county is compromised at the highest levels by the Chinese.
Tough for me to get outraged as the majority have no clue and/or don't care

Not only do they need to be punished severely, it need to be made common knowledge. You could execute them, but id nobody knows about it there's no deterrent.

Not sure it's any sense of patriotism but, a dumb son unable to think critically from his mother, and a mother with a warped idea that doing this could be a gateway to getting a job with the Chinese government, while being a US citizen post-Navy career Roll Eyes Its not a secret that Chinese agent's methods of getting secured foreign information is to pressure those of Chinese decent into working with them, playing the ethnic/racial loyalty angle; unfortunately, there's a lot of people who are 1st gen immigrants who succumb to this or, aren't able to discern right/wrong as many are poorly educated and their logic is...easily distorted.

Sonny faces a long prison sentence; mother, not sure she broke any laws other than fucking-up their family by convincing her son to be a low-level stooge. I certainly hope NCIS is onto a much larger case as their investigative track record has been pretty spotty lately and this could blow-back to FBI-levels of incompetency.

You know darn well they will be in prison until China can nab some tourist on the wrong side of the boarder or taking pictures of something they don't like and they'll do a swap to get them back.

China has over billion people within their borders, these people are pawns, they have no value to the CCP, they got what they needed and served their purpose.
