The Biden administration has broken with historical norms by firing Trump-appointed members of independent agencies serving fixed terms, a move that one appointee claims is illegal in a lawsuit.

It is unprecedented for a new administration to fire members of independent agencies serving fixed terms. But the Biden administration is trying to do so anyway. One appointee, Roger Severino, is suing the Biden administration over its decision to terminate him.

The man leading the purge is Gautam Raghavan, deputy director of the influential Presidential Personnel Office (PPO), which handles the hiring and firing of approximately 4,000 political appointees across the administration.

Raghavan served as the associate director of the Office of Public Liaison under President Obama, acting as a liaison to both the LGBT and Asian American and Pacific Islander communities from 2011 to 2014.

There appears to be a wider cultural agenda behind some of the efforts. Pressure is also mounting to fire every Trump appointee on two of the agencies that oversee planning for the city of Washington D.C., the National Capital Planning Commission and the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts.

These boards have jurisdiction over monuments and statues in the District, as well as over the naming of streets, statues, and monuments.

According to the Democrat deputy mayor of D.C., John Falcichio, one of the reasons why these appointees have to go is because they’re too white.

Around 500 K-12 schools and 65 colleges in the U.S. have partnerships with the Confucius Institute U.S. Center, a U.S.-based affiliate of the Beijing-based Confucius Institute Headquarters. The institute, also known as Hanban, is affiliated with the Chinese Ministry of Education.

Many of Hanban’s directors are members of the Chinese Communist Party or have close ties to the organization, The Daily Caller has previously reported.

The White House published a readout yesterday entitled “Readout of Vice President Kamala Harris Call with President Emmanuel Macron of France.”

Everybody here knows (or should have known) that kamala was always going to be president, and sleepy would only be around long enough to get elected in the first place, and then (in his own words) to 'get a disease or something and step down.' My guess is he will step down much sooner than most people thought - I'm thinking we will have our first female president by the end of Summer (and that is my very conservative guess).

Sleepy can't even make it through a pre-recorded Chinese New Year greeting; he literally slurred out the first sentence and let his wife finish it. The media won't investigate, and the dems are keeping him hidden. Heck, he was never *really* president in the first place; he was the empty suit/puppet with the real power (the puppeteer) hiding in the background.

This is probably one of the reasons the dems are making so much noise over the impeachment - they want to distract our attention away from sleepy to ANYWHERE but him and his obvious health crisis.

It will probably start with a White House staffer "testing positive" for Covid. From there, they can further hide sleepy by saying he is in 'quarantine,' but saying "he is fit as a fiddle and still carrying out his duties as president; we just can't show you." Then, he will "test positive" for Covid, and then have kamala invoke the 25th Amendment.

I don't watch the news anymore. Has sleepy actually had ANY live event, so that we can see for ourselves how healthy and competent he is?

I think you're right - all the signs have certainly been there - but Kamala was always going to run for President. We've got four years to bubble up from the grass roots, and there should be enough disconnects and trouble with the current 'menage' in the White House to give us a chance to send Kamala back to Lotus Eaters Central.

I hope no one has forgotten all the discussion before the election about how Harris would take over from Biden in short order if elected. All I can think is, “Yup: Exactly what was expected.”

I am actually mildly surprised that he has lasted in office as long as he has; it’s been almost a month since the inauguration. I wonder if he fully realizes what’s coming (or perhaps is even planned and scheduled), and that’s why we’ve seen such a flurry of executive orders by him. He wants to put his stamp on as much as possible before it’s over for him.
