marksman41Was curious about her Ph.D. From Google:
Background Information
Heidi Beirich is a prominent expert on far-right and extremist movements in the United States and Europe. She has a significant academic and professional background in this field. Education and Early Career Ph.D. in Political Science: Earned from Purdue University, specializing in European fascism and far-right movements.
Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC): Led the Intelligence Project, which tracks hate and anti-government groups in the U.S. Talk about projection.

Glynn863I used to work in the same town as the SPLC HQ (Montgomery, AL) and would sometimes see some of these people in local restaurants. What struck me was how vile and condescending they were towards restaurant staff, in particular minorities.
A former coworker dated the founder's (Morris Dees) daughter back in the late 1970s. He told me years ago that Dees was only interested in the money to be made, not the plight of the "victims".
Good on the Justice Department for doing this.
JMHO, YMMV.
