Thank you Very little |
There was never a launch, it was all staged, on a back lot at Walt Disney Studios, man has never left the earths atmosphere, much less been on the moon. If you look close Goofy is driving the car....

Thanks for posting that link. My wife didn't get to watch it live. If you're goin' through hell, keep on going. Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it. You might get out before the devil even knows you're there. NRA ENDOWMENT LIFE MEMBER

not a fan of Musk/Tesla, but that launch was one of the most impressive things I've seen! There is something good and motherly about Washington, the grand old benevolent National Asylum for the helpless. - Mark Twain The Gilded Age #CNNblackmail #CNNmemewar

Looks like they lost the center core as reports say it exploded rather than safely landing on that sea platform. Waiting for confirmation. Certifiable member of the gun toting, septuagenarian, bucket list workin', crazed retiree, bald is beautiful club! USN (RET), COTEP #192

Thanks for posting. Spent from 1960 to 1974 in the Air Force in the missile field. Atlas D to Titan I and II. Never did launch one than God! That was impressive. Officers lives matter!

That was impressive! Thanks for posting the link. Watched the 2 side boosters land successfully. But the cameras lost commuication with the main booster as it was landing. They seemed to assume that it landed ok, but didnt say for sure before the live broadcast ended.

Very impressive. Building those launch and landing facilities is an accomplishment in itself...all those gantries and buildings and real estate...that extremely valuable real estate. The whole complex must have cost SpaceX a king's ransom. I hope they're successful enough to recover all of their costs to date and I certainly hope they can stay profitable. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "And it's time that particularly, some of our corporations learned, that when you get in bed with government, you're going to get more than a good night's sleep." - Ronald Reagan

Has anyone heard about the main booster yet? I can't find any mention of it. Jim ________________________ "If you can't be a good example, then you'll have to be a horrible warning" -Catherine Aird

Go ahead punk, make my day |
Successful launch, 2 side boosters landed, and the Tesla Roadster will be on it's way to Mars shortly. Center Core booster landing apparently failed (there is audio saying "we lost the Center Core"), so ULA folks have something to be happy about. Then again, all their expended rocket boosters crash without attempting to land.

The two side boosters landing simultaneously was really pretty damn incredible. I got my dad to watch the launch but he turned the live feed off after the boosters separated. Had to call him and tell him to keep watching, lol. I hope the core came down intact.

They lost the AUDIO at that point and did not get confirmation about the core at sea recovery landing. That is still an item to be confirmed one way or another.
