Raise the voting age back to 21. The draft ended years ago so the argument about getting to vote for who gets you drafted is long moot.

Lower the drinking age back to 18. They’re doing it anyway and we’re turning then into criminals for it and that’s stupid.

Of all the degreed people I've worked with those that worked their way through were the best. Provable by the fact they spent their time better than by making ridiculous demands.

I guess I also did it wrong. I was WORKING 60+ hour per week while carrying what the Veteran's admin called a full college load. I.e. 4 classes, and not a fucking one of them was a"gimme" course. Dual major, "people management & business management, and minors in accounting & economics. on top of the "hands on" building a house on the weekends. And, being in the army reserves for one of those years!

When I applied for college entrance, the counselor told me that I had an advantage over the typical student. What was that advantage? When I went through high school there was actually a requirement to be able to read, write and think.

I have maintained for years (actually since 1990-91) that requirements for entry to colleges was far to easy, and did not require actual evidence of being capable in the English language. My year assignment to Hampton U. proved it.

Our education system has been under attack for at least 3 decades. And the sad truth is they have won.

Allowing a 2 day sit in is more than enough proof of social justice. Should have just handcuffed them all together, drop a crap ton of oc on them.

We talk about the colleges role in this nonsense, but the parents of these idiots have a part in it too. If they had kicked their little precious out into the world at about age 14 or so and told them to start dealing with life (mainly with employment) I believe that there would way less of this crap.
The current college admission cheating arrests are a prime example of parents trying to gain unwarranted advantage for do nothing kids.
