Unlike 92fstech, I'll skip jogging for a few days. I used to be that, er...committed, but at age 73 I'm smarter than I used to be.

It's keeping my insulin dosage under control, otherwise there's no way I'd have been out there this morning, lol! The limits of my dedication may be surpassed tomorrow, though, when it's supposed to be a high of 2 (also actual, not wind chill). There's a treadmill in one of the town buildings that I may hit up on my "lunch break"...I hate the things because they make me feel like a damn hamster on a wheel, but it's better than freezing to death!

A foot so far in MQT. Still snowing hard. Windy too.

All the times I've been to the UP, we've never been up in the winter. I'm actually kinda jealous...we used to get some pretty epic snowstorms around here with significant snowfall, but haven't had much the last few years. If it's gonna be cold it might as well snow!

Nope! I made a last-minute trip to a couple grocery stores with my GF on Thursday, decided to skip an additional stop at the Vet for catfood, since the weather report said, then, that the cold would break by Wednesday. Overnight we got an additional 4" or so more snow and the temps started to drop, but the new weather report said well-below-zero temps for the entire next week.

I had to dig the car out of the snow it was half-buried under, then drive on sheet ice with occasional drifting to make sure the kitties were as well-provisioned as the humans.

You can have all my snow if you want, but you'll have to come pick it up since the roads are too icy for my tastes. Eek

Our local weather forecast is saying that East Tennessee will have a couple of inches on Monday with high winds…I like snow (when it covers the ground, is pretty and then melts and goes away)

-7 Actual this morning with 20mph wind. We got some drifting overnight but not much new snow. Layered up, heat's cranked in the car...time for day 3!

I talked to a fella about how much snow we've had here in 12 days span.

He asked if the cars were still visible. I said yeah.

He was from Buffalo, N.Y.
