I believe in the principle of Due Process ![]() |
Here is a link to the cameras on the ISS https://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/ESRS/HDEV/ Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Political Cynic![]() |
about two years ago they had a system of I think 5 cameras called EarthCam up and running. It would show various views of the space station and the earth unfortunately none of the cameras were sensitive enough to pick up lights on the dark portion of the pass so for 45 minutes it would be dark it would be nice to get a camera system up there that was sensitive enough to pick up the lights [B] Against ALL enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC

I was just wondering why this doesn't show any lights in the dark side, when I know I've seen other shots from the ISS that do show them. Actually I think the shots that do show lights were all stills, not video. Maybe it's the video cameras that have low sensitivity?

Just checked, seems it's all dark again... you'd think they'd have a big light on that thing.... or at least a mirror to reflect the sunlight down... one of the cool things to do down here is to catch the space station on a clear night at just the right moment as it goes over and the sun is shinning on it... that puppy is moving fast! This is also a good site, as it shows all three cameras at one time: http://www.n2yo.com/space-station/ We love using the ISS Tracker app and watching it fly over on spring/summer/fall evenings after sunset, when the ISS is lit by the sun in the dark sky. Pretty neat.
