Not too long ago Ted Nugent had one of his Bronco's rebuilt here in Houston by the guy who does the Motortrend Network Show Texas Metal .
THAT was an impressive build and I am sure it's value could push six figures.

Ted sucks but that Bronco is fucking awesome.

Sold the dam thing in the summer when icing was minimal

I've dealt with carb icing on my old Cessna 172 but on a truck motor never. I guess living down South has a few advantages. How do you treat that? Extended idle? or engine block heater?

Heated spacer plate under the carb plumbed into the coolant system.

No, but the stupid tide raises all boats. Like Gunbroker, people go on there, see a price (not realizing it's been on there for years because it's over priced) then price theirs based on that. That happens a few times and soon that's the new going rate.

In 1978 my girlfriend had a blue 1st gen Bronco. We went everywhere in that gas hog.

If you want to see what people are willing to pay, browse the sold vehicles on bringatraler.com. You'd be surprised at what people pay.
