Tanqueray gin & tonic with lime wedges, on ice. I also like Mohitos, but they're a lot more work.

I don't do many mixed drinks, but over the last year I got somewhat obsessed with margaritas.

My go to:
1 part fresh lime juice
1.5 parts Cointreau
2 parts Reposado Tequila. Casamigos is my current favorite. Casa Noble and Don Julio are tied for second.

Mix in shaker with ice. I serve mine without ice in a glass with a salted rim. My wife prefers ice. Do not operate heavy machinery after consuming.

I also like Mojito's and the occasional Dark and Stormy.

I usually prefer it neat, but Whiskey Sour and Old Fashioned is what I like when I do it mixed. Occasional Coffee Nudge, pretty much the only way I'll drink coffee. Surprised that I came to like it at all, but there it is anyways.

I use Quady Vya Extra Dry, pricey at 16 bucks for a small .375l bottle. For gin, whatever quality one I have open, currently Boodles. I mix to a 10:1 ratio, with 2 olives, sometimes I turn it into a Gibson by adding a cocktail onion.
I agree about the gin, anything else is not a Martini. Nothing wrong with sipping ice cold vodka, but don't call it a Martini.

Somewhere along the way, I lost the taste for martini's with olives, strange, because I do like olives on their own, but generally not when they are mixed with anything else. Exception is olives stuffed with anchovies. They are acceptable for me in a martini.

Gibson? Yea, verily! They have replaced olive laden martinis for me. I have not had one in a restaurant for years, it seems that the restaurants that we (used to, before the virus) frequent, do not stock onions. Longhorn, Ale House, none of the medium priced places where we usually go.

I have a Mexican Lime tree growing in my front yard(I planted it for it's fruit). In the hot days(we have a LOT of them), I mix Bombay Sapphire Blue Gin with Schweppes Tonic water and fresh picked limes with a LOT of ice!!! It is definitely a "cooler".

White Russian. It's difficult to get real cream around here now (sold out everywhere) so I've had to make due with half and half which isn't nearly as good. A Black Russian is good too. Bit high in calories though and since I'm not getting any younger I don't drink many of them.
